Seismic Games is seeking a clever, capable, and experienced Graphics Engineer to help build the next generation of games.

Seismic Games’ engineering teams are comprised of top-notch game makers who thrive on the love of gaming. Our intent is to bring together best-of-class teams to tackle an array of differentiated and interesting mobile and VR games. Our executive management and senior talent have long, significant experience delivering well-reviewed titles in the PC, console, and mobile markets. We are leveraging that experience into the mobile and VR gaming space.

Duties:

* Being smart, dedicated, self-motivated, positive, friendly, and ready to learn and teach
* Rapidly gathering, understanding, prototyping and creating effective solutions for complex requirements
* Working effectively and proactively in a team environment with tight deadlines and baffling challenges
* Producing clean, concise, expressive, and well-managed code
* Utilizing leading-edge tools and systems
* Understanding and being able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and analyze complex rendering systems and art pipelines
* Sharing knowledge of our existing pipelines and developing graphical competencies in our more junior engineers
* Being a champion for the look of our games
* Anticipating the needs of our art team to ensure systems and tools are available to meet their needs
* Independently learning the latest trends and technologies in the field of graphics
* Delivering feedback compassionately and constructively in order to improve oneself, others, and the project
* Excitedly working with new and upcoming technologies in mobile, VR, AR, mixed-reality, and beyond

* C++, Objective-C, and Java

* iOS, Android, and PC
* Perforce, Jenkins, and JIRA

Requirements:

* 7+ years experience working as a game engineer
* Several shipped titles in a graphics role
* Expert knowledge of real time rendering
* Experience helping, mentoring, and supporting other engineers
* The ideal candidate also has experience with, knows, and understands:
* Physics, determinism, 3d math, and linear algebra
* Parallel processing, compute shaders, busses, and dma
* Optimization, systems architecture, profiling, tooling, and reporting
* Vulkan, DX12, HLSL, GLSL, and ShaderLab
* Code review systems and best practices
